My career in the world of accountancy began at just 18, when I joined Deloitte's BrightStart Apprenticeship programme. Over the years, I worked with a wide range of clients — from owner-managed businesses to global corporations listed on the London and New York Stock Exchanges with revenues exceeding £1 billion.
During this time, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW with first-time passes and was awarded the Whinney Prize by ICAEW for placing first in the world in the Case Study exam.
Fuelled by a strong interest in tax, I transitioned into Deloitte's Corporation Tax team, advising large businesses on complex compliance and advisory matters. I went on to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) at the age of 23, again with all first-time passes and a Distinction in the Owner-Managed Business Advanced Technical paper.
After seeing how many small businesses were either priced out by big accountancy firms or underserved by smaller ones, I launched my own accountancy and tax advisory firm — offering the technical quality of a top-tier practice with a personal, jargon-free approach. Holding both ACA and CTA qualifications puts me in a unique position to support clients with both day-to-day compliance and forward-thinking tax planning.
My tax expertise spans corporate restructuring, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and landlord structuring — areas I'm deeply passionate about, especially as a property investor myself.
What I enjoy most is translating complex rules into practical, understandable advice that saves clients time and money. I believe in building long-term relationships based on honesty, clarity, and trust.
